Plugin Dashboard Tour

In the Plugin Dashboard for Slider Revolution you can manage your modules, access global settings, and manage updates and license status. We’ll walk through what’s included in this tour.

Plugin Dashboard Structure

The Plugin Dashboard is accessed via the Plugin Dashboard menu item 1 in the Slider Revolution admin menu section of your WordPress admin panel.

It is comprised of 4 main areas.

A fifth key area, opened via the Top Bar, is the Global Settings panel.

Top Bar

In the Top Bar you will find the Nav Bar 1 and the Right Bar 2.

Nav Bar

The Nav Bar contains 5 buttons.

  • Settings 1: Opens the Global Settings Panel
  • Modules 2: Scrolls to the Modules Section
  • Templates 3: Opens the templates library.
  • Addons 4: Opens the addons library.
  • Go Light/Dark 5: Switches between light and dark modes.

Right Bar

On the Right Bar you will find 3 items.

  • Help 1: Visit the Help Center ->.
  • Account 2: Go to your Member Dashboard.
  • Issues 3: Displays whether any issues have been found, such as required updates for example.

Global Settings Panel

The Global Settings panel contains plugin-wide defaults that affect all modules unless locally overridden. It is opened by clicking the Settings button on the Nav Bar.

By default it is split into 5 tabs, though additional tabs may appear when certain addons are installed.

On any tab, click the Save Global Settings button to save your changes.

General Tab

In the Permissions & Language section configure editing permissions, the editing language, and whether you would like to share usage analytics.

In the Slider Revolution JS Libraries section set JS libraries to load globally or on a per page basis.

Breakpoints Tab

In the Default Responsive Breakpoints section set the widths at which module layouts should switch to different device sizes.

Fonts Tab

Under Font Loading and Caching set where you want to load Google fonts from, and optionally toggle Font Awesome inclusion and Google Font preconnects.

In the Optional Google Fonts Loading URL section, optionally set a custom Google font source URL.

In the Custom Fonts section add custom fonts by clicking the Add Custom Font button then fill in the custom font fields.

Optimization Tab

In the Module Optimization & Loading section configure the data and feed loading method you would like to use, and optionally force 1xDPR on mobile devices.

In the Image Optimization section configure automatic image optimization settings.

System Tab

In the Privacy & GDPR Settings section toggle YouTube No-Cookie mode, and choose a cookie consent plugin to integrate with.

In the Caching & Database Tools section toggle internal caching, and handle cache clearing and unmigrated module deletion.

Welcome Section

On the left side of the Welcome section you’ll see a carousel of latest news and important announcements.

On the right side is a two tabbed panel that will alert you to any required updates, and allow you to manage your license status for the site.

Modules Section

At the top of the Modules section is the Overview bar 1. Below that is the Modules Library 2.

Overview Bar

In the middle of the Overview bar you will find buttons to create a new module, import a module, or search your module library.

When you click the New button you’ll get the option to create a module from scratch, use the quick start generator, or start from a pre-built template.

On the right end of the bar are buttons to toggle between list and thumbnail display 1, filter modules 2, sort modules 3, or add a folder 4.

Modules Library

The Modules Library shows all the modules created on your site.

When you hover over a module you can access a collection of quick access buttons, such as the pen icon to edit the module.

Help Section

In the Help section you’ll find a collection of useful links to tutorials and other resources.
