Slides Sidebar Structure
The Slides Sidebar contains these main elements.
- Static Slide Item 1: Access to a slide whose layers will remain visible even as the slider/carousel progresses.
- Slide List 2: A list of one or more slides currently in the Module.
- Add Slide button 3: Click to add a new, blank slide.

Static Slide Item
Click the Static Slide item in the Slides Sidebar to start editing static layers you want to have remain visible.
For example, the Static Slide in this example module is used to position progress bar and arrow navigation in a layout that wouldn’t be possible by default.

Then even when you have a regular slide selected 1, the layers of the Static Slide 2 can remain visible.

Static Slide Settings
Click the gear icon 1 on the Static Slide item to open the Static Slide Settings panel 2.

In the Static Slide Settings section, configure whether overflowing portions of static layers are visible and whether static slide layers appear above or below other slides. In the Static Slide Behavior (Editor) section you can toggle whether static slides are visible in the editor.
Slide List
In the Slide List you will find one or more Slide Items, each representing a slide in the module. Click a slide item to activate editing for that slide.
On each Slide Item are the following controls:
- Sort handle 1: Click and drag to change the sort order of slides. The ID number of the slide is also displayed.
- Title 2: The title of the slide. Double click to rename.
- Delete 3: Click to delete the slide.
- Duplicate 4: Click to duplicate the slide.
- Preview 5: Click to preview the current slide rather than previewing the full module.

Slide Settings
Click the gear icon 1 on any Slide item to open the settings panel 2 for that slide.
The panel includes five tabs:

Thumbnail Tab
In the Thumbnail tab you can set the slide thumbnails that should appear in the Slides List and in any navigation controls that incorporate thumbnails.

Progress Tab
Use the Progress Tab to set how long the slide should last, and if it should pause after that time or proceed to the next slide. You can also set if the slide should be hidden from navigation, from mobile devices, or after a specified number of loops.

Scheduling Tab
Use the Scheduling tab’s controls if you want the slide to only be visible between certain dates.

Parameters Tab
In the Parameters tab, set a description and add custom parameters.

Accessibility Tab
Use the Accessibility tab to set slide specific ARIA information, if you have accessibility settings enabled under Settings -> Accessibility panel -> Screen Reader Support.
